A: A person is new to the community and has a good score
B: A person is new to the community and has a bad score
C: A person is a member of the community for 10 years, never showed fraudulent behavior and has a good score
D: A person is a member of the community for 10 years, never showed fraudulent bevhaior and has a bad score
How would you rank these cases with respect to the associated risk? Worst is B and best is C, but what about A and D? Do you really think that person A is trustworthier than person D?
Also, as far as I understood, the problem was that a bad score indicates an increased risk that a user uses vpn/proxies and therefore, this user might not be identifiable. However, since OSP provided you with all information to verify that he is not using a vpn/proxy, he is identifiable.
In conlusion, OSP is a user who plays for 10 years in alobby, never showed any fraudulent behavior and you are able to identify him by his IP because he is evidently not using a vpn/proxy. And now he cannot play, because he has a bad score? This seems unreasonable.
P.S.: Please stop this private data stuff OSP. It doesn't lead anywhere. And from a moral standpoint, are you really sensitive with information about the rough estimate of your location? I think you actually do not care and you just want to do something like: "you say I did something wrong, look!, you did something wrong too!". In my opinion, neither of you did anything wrong.
